I am new to drones. I am basically happy with my purchase of the Mini 3 pro with the Fly More package, with the exception of one area........INSTRUCTION VIDEO! There is a vast array of instructional videos available online from DJI, on how to operate the drone...Only 1 problem.....IT'S ALL IN CHINESE!!! I would have given 5 stars if it weren't for the Paper instructions that came with the unit and is in type so small, you literally need a magnifying glass to read it, and the fact that all of the instructional videos are in Chinese. I have had to search through YOU Tube to find instructions, in English, from current owners. The lac of English language video speaks volumes of the support from DJI. Only buy this drone if you have many hours to search out instructional videos on how to use it.

This is my first DJI drone and my 2nd drone ever. Super easy to fly, even in windy conditions. The smart features are pretty cool for different types of shots. The drone will fly pre-programmed flight patterns on its own and return to its starting position. Obstacle avoidance works well, also. Dodges objects and moves around them. Very small/skinny tree branches (Basically twigs) may run into them. Camera quality is quite good and the camera is very steady with the gimble. The RC remote works really well and is cool with the touch screen. Basically it is like a standard remote with a smart phone. But, you don't need to use a phone.

If you want a drone that takes professional quality photos and video that’s easy to travel with - this is it.

I’ve used it for real estate photography and the automatic exposure bracketing at 2 EV apart is excellent. Video quality is excellent for this size and it’s easy to control, especially with the RC remote. Master shots and quick shots can be helpful at times, same with the active track.

If you need to shoot social media videos, this can shoot vertical portrait mode for photos or video!

A couple negatives
- wind resistance is good, but the gimbal gets kicked around sometimes but 20+ winds, especially at higher altitudes
- changing the propellers is a bit annoying compared to bigger drones, but props are cheap.

Overall, it works great for most applications and I recommend it!

Well I finally bit the bullet and bought a drone. I’m not much into buying garbage to test and train myself. It I bought the mini 3 pro and it’s super nice in my mind. I’m sure it’s got more options then I’ll ever use. But I haven’t crashed it yet. I will admit I thought when you have it follow a target it actually would follow it. I haven’t figured that out yet but it will keep the camera focused on the target but you still need to fly the drone. So if you fly it over the target to the the other side. You won’t have to mess with the camera settings but I expected it to fly itself when locked on a target.

The take off is nice. It auto goes to a meter and holds a hover. I flew this in high winds gusting to 25mph and other than the speed it was flying I couldn’t tell. I did get a warning saying high winds lower elevation or land. So it really is dummy proof I think. I just have to get use to the controls. The size of the box was the only disappointment. When you spend a grand you don’t want to see a 8” by 8” box show up. Hahah. I was like what the hell is this. But this thing is tiny but the remote and drone are all appropriate for their jobs.
